Based in Georgia, Helicopter Express is a premiere provider of helicopter flight services. Although they had a relatively new website, they felt it wasn’t meeting expectations. They asked us to create a simpler, clearer website that would boost business and put more of their choppers in the air.
Helicopter Express had plenty of content, but it lacked organization. Our first step was to simplify the site navigation, create an intuitive flow of information, and eliminate unnecessary pages to create a cleaner, easy-to-navigate website.
Helicopter Express knew their strengths, but they weren’t reflected in their website copy. We listened closely to their story and turned their strengths into a solid brand message, communicated clearly on the homepage.
It’s Websites 101: Any service-based business that wants to drive leads online needs a strong call to action. We placed a “Request a Quote” button within a sticky navigation bar, so it’s always front and center for visitors. We also added bold and bright calls to action to the bottom of each page.
We built the Helicopter Express site from scratch with speed in mind. The site now scores a 96/100 on Google PageSpeed, a number that boosts its usability, conversion rates, and SEO rankings. We also coded the site in Craft, a user-friendly CMS, to make content updates quick and easy.
